Oyado Yamakyu

Yamakyu is a traditional Japanese inn, or ryokan, located in the historic city of Takayama. The property offers a homely atmosphere with décor from the Meiji and Taisho periods. Guests stay in Japanese-style rooms which feature tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a television, and complimentary Wi-Fi. While rooms have a private toilet, the bathing facilities are shared. The ryokan has both indoor and outdoor public baths for guests to use.
